Born from IWC’s mid-century focus on engineering and precision, the Ingenieur became an icon of technical watchmaking before Gérald Genta reshaped its design in the 1970s. This Ref. 3350 comes from the following decade, combining the Ingenieur’s distinctive architectural lines with lightweight titanium and quartz technology. At just 32mm, it has a wonderfully understated presence on the wrist, while the integrated bracelet and characteristic five-recess bezel retain the unmistakable Ingenieur identity. A fascinating piece from IWC’s 1980s era, and a particularly wearable example of the brand’s engineering-driven design.
