Complete collector set with original caseback sticker! The 16700 is one of the last true GMT-Master references produced by Rolex, representing the end of an era before the GMT-Master II fully took over the lineup. Introduced in the late 1980s and discontinued in the late 1990s, the 16700 retains the clean, classic GMT-Master design with its iconic red and blue “Pepsi” bezel originally developed for Pan Am pilots to track multiple time zones. This example is especially attractive with its beautifully faded fuchsia Pepsi bezel and nice creamy patina on the indices, giving it the vintage charm collectors love.
